Logo Competition

Once again we are looking for a great new logo for the beer festival.

If you have an idea for our logo, sketch it out and send it in – you might win a prize!

The winner of the competition will win a pair of tickets to this year’s festival, some festival beer/cider tokens and their logo may appear on the festival marketing material, t-shirts and souvenir glass. There will also be two runner up prizes of a pair of festival tickets.

When designing the logo, it is important to take into account the different formats that the logo will be used for – posters, flyers, beer mats, t-shirts and glasses. For most formats there are no colour limitations but the logo would need to be altered so that only one colour is used for the t-shirt version and up to six colours (black, grey, white and 3 others) used for the glass version. Any changes required to fit the colour limitations would be carried out by the festival team.

The festival theme this year will celebrate the giant leap for mankind made by Neil Armstrong and the crew of Apollo XI fifty years ago. So your logo needs to have a space / moon theme. All of the festival logos since the festival has been held on the racecourse have included a horse, so your logo must incorporate a horse as well.

The logo can be drawn, painted, computer generated, etc. A scan or photo of the logo must be sent to logocomp@worcesterbeerfest.org.uk by 26th April 2019. Any questions should be sent to the competition email address.

Please note that the Worcester CAMRA Beer Cider and Perry Festival will have the right to use, for free with no copyright infringement, any artwork entered as part of this competition.
