Donations to Charity
The Charity Box contained £2730.00 in unused tokens plus a "gold watch" which we managed to sell for £70.21 donated by our kindhearted customers.
The total will be divided between the 2011 Festival's charities:
- The Midlands Air Ambulance. Charity No. 1001064
- Acorns Children's Hospice Trust. Charity No. 700859
- British Heart Foundation (in memory of both our own Len Irving who tragically died in June 2011 and also Kim Dowling, Landlady at the Cricketers in Worcester). Charity No. 225971
New Members of CAMRA
43 new members were signed up.
The winner of the Suggest A Beer competition is Nathan Nicol from Stourport-on-Severn.
The winner of the Suggest A Cider / Perry competition is Mrs D McClarty from Leeds. Congratulations to them both.
