In 2015 we supported
Midlands Air Ambulance
Midlands Air Ambulance is the only Charity responsible for funding and operating three Air Ambulances serving the communities of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. This constitutes the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK.
Since 1991, the Charity has responded to more than 34,000 missions averaging 3,000 per year or nearly ten each day, making it one of the longest established and busiest Air Ambulance organizations in the UK.
Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter
Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS) opened its doors to abandoned and stray animals on 9 April 2001. Since then the enclosed field, with beautiful views of the Malvern Hills, is now home to about twenty seven dogs in a purpose-built kennel block and has now completed a cattery unit with 12 pens.
The dedicated staff and their team of enthusiastic volunteers ensure that all the dogs and cats are given individual attention with lots of exercise and love.
You can find them by following the sign to Deblins Green on the A449 Worcester to Malvern road between Powick and Newland.
Get Your Sock Out
